And it begins

Throughout this week, I've observed the soccer field several times. The soccer field is 148 yards long, and tends to be wet right after school. The grass seems to be a bright green from afar, but you can see that it's halfway full of mud. The muddy grass is caused due to the cleats ripping and tearing it while wet. The muddiest part of the field is inside the 18 yard box, which is where the majority of our practice takes place. While at practice, both the guys and the girls team will run laps around the field and cause the corners to get messed up. I have also realized that along the north side of the field, there are three huge holes that had a net to prevent balls from going over, but now they're gone. The last thing I've observed, is that everyone on the team is much happier when the grass is cut, then when it's not.
